A product must meet the following criteria to be successful in the market:
(a) Problem-solution fit - It must be fit for purpose. we've got a design-thinking based Solution R&D Program that requires proposed products or services are designed only in response to a specific problem and in close consultation with the target consumer community. It's a "dream-to-disrupt" process requiring signing off by clients at every stage gate to ensure alignment throughout the process.
(b) Market-product fit - delivering greater value for money than others. We run a growth enabler, ROSADO Program, to find and fix (or flip) gaps in competitiveness of value additions made by the various players in the product ecosystem.
(c) Social norm fit - the product must be in harmony with local societal norms, customs and laws. Our design team is required to make sure the product design is validated even outside the target community to check on social-norms fit criterion, specially when it comes to branding the product, choosing ingredients and sources of supply to build the product .
